According to reports, Dipu Chandra Das was a 25 year old Hindu man who worked at a garment factory. He was killed by a mob in Bhaluka, Mymensingh, on Thursday night over alleged blasphemy. He was employed at the Pioneer Knit Composite Factory in the Square Masterbari area.
His father, Ravilal Das, said that the family learned about the incident through social media. At least 12 people have been arrested in connection with the case. The incident has shocked many and raised serious questions about mob violence and communal tensions.
A Call For Action
Janhvi ended her message by calling on people to arm themselves with knowledge and speak up for innocent lives that are constantly lost and terrorized in communal violence.
