Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, and Roshan Mathew are set to star in the upcoming film Ulajh, directed by Sudhanshu Saria and produced by Junglee Pictures. The film is a stylized international thriller set in the world of Indian Foreign Services (IFS). It follows the journey of a young IFS officer, played by Janhvi Kapoor, who gets embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while far from her home turf, at a career-defining post. The film promises to be unlike anything else audiences have seen in this genre.
Janhvi Kapoor is regarded as one of the most bankable actresses of her generation. With her various performances, the actress has demonstrated her versatility. She is now preparing to take on the role of an IFS officer in the much-anticipated Ulajh. Speaking about the film, the actress said, “When I was approached with the script of Ulajh, it instantly attracted me because as an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone and portraying a character based in the celebrated world of the Indian Foreign Services was just that.”
The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew, who are known for their versatile performances. The film has been written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, with dialogues by Atika Chohan. The shoot of the film is set to begin at the end of the month. The film’s first look was shared by Janhvi Kapoor on her Instagram account, where she can be seen standing in the middle while Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi stand on both her sides. The film promises to be an exciting thriller that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
