Janhvi Kapoor has been locked for her next film for 2021. According to the reports Janhavi has signed a project under Aanand L Rai’s banner, Colour Yellow Productions.
As per the reports the film is a remake of Nayanthara’s 2018 hit, Kolamavu Kokila. The story is about a young girl who gets involved in a drug racket to earn quick money. Later her family also gets dragged into the drug smuggling business and the story goes on with some interesting twists.
The film is expected to go on the floors in February 2021. Siddharth Sengupta will be directing the film while Pankaj Matta will be writing the screenplay to suit the sensibilities of the Hindi film audiences.
Meanwhile, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl actor is looking forward to the release of her horror-comedy, Roohi Afzana.
