Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and distributed by Yash Raj Films internationally. Along with Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya in supporting roles. The film is Atlee’s first Hindi film and Shah Rukh Khan’s second release this year after All Time Blockbuster Pathaan.
Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as SRK, is set to achieve a significant milestone and stamp his authority as his latest film, Jawan, approaches the 1000-crore mark at the global box office. This would make him the only Indian actor to have two 1000-crore grossers in a single year, solidifying his position as one of Bollywood’s biggest star. He himself has broken all records of his previous release Pathaan in matter of 7 months!

In addition to his online interactions, SRK has been actively promoting Jawan through various events and appearances. Nayanthara to File Defamation Notice Against Publications?
In a recent turn of events, South Indian superstar Nayanthara, who made her Bollywood debut in the blockbuster film ‘Jawan’, is reportedly contemplating legal action against certain publications. These publications have been spreading rumours that Nayanthara is upset with the ‘Jawan’ makers, particularly director Atlee.
The rumours suggested that Nayanthara was upset with Atlee for allegedly chopping her role and sidelining her by Deepika Padukone in ‘Jawan’. These speculations led to headlines claiming that Nayanthara was so upset that she had sworn never to work with Atlee again. Some even went as far as to say that she would not work in Bollywood henceforth.
These rumours have caused considerable distress to Nayanthara and have potentially harmed her reputation. As a result, she is reportedly considering strong action against the YouTube channels and other platforms that have been spreading such gossip.

In response to these rumours, Nayanthara posted a birthday wish for Atlee on her Instagram stories, expressing pride in his achievements. This move effectively quashed the rumours of any bad blood between them. Furthermore, a fan club of Nayanthara has claimed that the actress is contemplating strong action against such YouTube channels who spread such gossip. This is not the first time that Nayanthara has faced slander from various sources.

Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet on Nayanthara’a character in ‘Jawan’
Amidst these rumours, Shah Rukh Khan also took to Twitter to reply to a fan on Nayanthara’s character Narmada in the film. In ‘Jawan’, Nayanthara plays the role of a special agent, Narmada Rai, a single mother to a young girl and the love interest of Shah Rukh Khan’s character.
He said, “I also felt that the story of Narmada as a single mom was amazing. Unfortunately in the scheme of things couldn’t find more screen time but as is was also wonderful. #Jawan”
