Jawan: Sanjay Dutt To Have A Cameo, Marking His First Collaboration With Shah Rukh Khan?

Atlee Kumar is said to have planned a crowd-pleasing sequence for SRK and Dutt.

Shah Rukh Khan and his fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the upcoming Bollywood film Jawan, which is set to hit theatres on June 2. Directed by Atlee Kumar, the film is a Pan-India production, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, and Ridhi Dogra, as well as a cameo appearance by Deepika Padukone.

The excitement around Jawan has only increased with the news that Sanjay Dutt will reportedly be joining the cast for a special cameo role crucial to the film’s storyline. “The casting for this brief but vital role has been quite difficult for Atlee, as it required an A-list star who had never appeared on screen alongside Shah Rukh. Allu Arjun was earlier offered this role, but he turned it down due to a scheduling conflict and his commitment to the highly anticipated Pushpa: The Rule. Shortly after Allu’s refusal, the makers went to Sanju Baba, and now he has agreed to do this role for SRK,”  source informed Peeping Moon’s Rahul.

However, Dutt has reportedly agreed to the role and is set to shoot his sequence next month in Mumbai. This marks the first proper on-screen collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt, who share a great rapport off-screen.

Atlee Kumar is said to have planned a crowd-pleasing sequence for SRK and Dutt, which will be filmed on a large scale in a Mumbai studio. The film is a mass-action spectacle made on a budget of around 200 crores and is nearing completion, with only around 25 days of shooting remaining. Atlee and his team are committed to releasing the film as scheduled on June 2 and are working on post-production simultaneously to achieve their goal.

Despite speculations, there have been no changes to the release date for Jawan, which is set to be a commercial masala potboiler with a universal story that transcends language and geography. This marks yet another pan-Indian project for Sanjay Dutt, who is also working on KD: The Devil and Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, in addition to his recent blockbuster KGF Chapter 2.

Overall, Jawan is a highly anticipated film that promises to be a thrilling and entertaining experience for audiences across India and beyond.
