The Smoke On Sets left Him With A Sore Throat

Prashant, who played a pivotal role in the film, shared some insights into his experiences during the 130-day shoot. He explained, “I was involved in numerous scenes, especially those wide-angle shots. One memorable scene involved smoke on a train where Shah Rukh Khan’s character emerges, firing bullets from his hands. I was responsible for filming that sequence. Atlee ji, our director, instructed me to complete the scene since the actor’s face wasn’t entirely visible. While it was an exciting scene to shoot, the heavy smoke caused me to choke. The smoke lingered in my system for about four to five days, making it difficult for me to speak.”

Atlee Praised His Performance

Prashant also mentioned another intense scene, saying, “There was a sequence with an explosion and shattered glass, with fire and a bullet nearby. Atlee sir even consulted the fight master to ensure the safety of the scene. Once we received the green light, we proceeded with the shoot. Atlee sir was highly impressed and came over to hug me, saying, ‘Prashant, you’ve delivered a flawless performance.'”

Shah Rukh Khan’s Bald Look In Jawan Took 4 Hours Of Makeup

Regarding his bald look in the film, Prashant revealed, “Creating the bald look was the most time-consuming aspect of my transformation because we had to use prosthetics. On days when prosthetic makeup was applied, we shot only in that look. The process of applying prosthetic makeup took around three to four hours. We alternated between days with the bald look and others because spending 10 to 12 hours on set with the makeup caused skin issues like rashes and boils to develop.”
