Jawan’s Music Director Anirudh Talks About Working With SRK, “I’ve grown up watching Shah Rukh sir’s movies and I’m his big fan”

Jawan has been making headlines ever since SRK unveiled his first look poster.

Kolaveri Di fame Anirudh Ravichander is among the biggest composers in the South industry. With Shah Rukh Khan‘s Jawan, he will enter Bollywood after creating waves with his music in Tollywood. The release of Jawan, which was directed by Atlee, is eagerly anticipated by its audience. The movie marks Anirudh’s debut in the Hindi cinema industry, and he is enthusiastic about it as well.

A video is currently doing the rounds on social media in which Anirudh, at a recent event, his Bollywood debut with Atlee’s Jawan, and working with SRK is now doing the rounds on social media.

He said, “I’m very very excited about it. Also, nowadays, especially after the pandemic and how the OTT has taken over, I think it’s not a question of Tamil film, Hindi film, or any other language film. Even if you take a song (as an example), if a song becomes a hit in one language, it’s a hit all over because of Instagram reels, Tiktok, and all that stuff. So, language barriers have been broken. For me, I kind of realised that with my first song (Kola Veri Di) itself.”

Anirudh added, “I never had any specific dream that I want to do a Bollywood project but I’ve grown up watching Shah Rukh sir’s movies and I’m his big fan. My brother Atlee, he’s a wonderful director. He’s taking all of us there (to Bollywood) and I’m sure it’ll be a great experience. I’ve met Shah Rukh sir and he’s a wonderful person.”
