Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, is set to release on April 14, 2022. The film was originally scheduled to be released on December 31, 2021, but was postponed owing to the pandemic. The film’s makers previously released a trailer in November 2021, and they have now released a new trailer ahead of the film’s premiere.

Jersey is a remake of the same-named Telugu film. Nani and Shraddha Shrinath played the primary parts in the original film, and Sathyaraj had a key role. Shahid’s father, legendary actor Pankaj Kapur, will play the role of Sathyaraj in the Hindi version.
