What’s in Jigra Trailer?
The trailer showcases an intense storyline about a sister determined to rescue her brother from a foreign prison. Alia plays Satya, a strong woman working in hospitality.
After her brother is arrested under unclear circumstances, she travels abroad to create a bold escape plan. Complicating things, her brother faces false charges in a language he cannot understand.
The emotional heart of the film revolves around the bond between Satya and her brother. Satya is depicted as courageous and clever, showing how far one can go for family. Manoj Pahwa plays a mentor or father figure to Satya, providing support throughout her challenging journey.
In addition to Alia, Jigra features Vedang Raina as her on-screen brother. The cast also includes Aditya Nanda, Manoj Pahwa, and Rahul Ravindran in supporting roles. The film is produced by Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions, with music composed by Achint Thakkar, ensuring a captivating audio-visual experience.
Written by Debashish Irengbam and Vasan Bala, Jigra is set for theatrical release soon. It will clash with another release Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
Alia Bhatt & Vedang Raina’s Work Front
Jigra is significant for Alia, as it is her only film release this year. In 2023, she appeared in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and made her Hollywood debut in Netflix’s Heart of Stone, alongside Gal Gadot. She is currently working on YRF’s upcoming spy film Alpha, which stars Sharvari.
Vedang, who plays Alia’s brother, gained fame for his role in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies last year, where he acted alongside Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda.
