John Abraham Unveils First Force 3 Video Glimpse As Harshvardhan Rane Joins Franchise For March 2027 Release

John Abraham has fired the first real shot from Force 3, unveiling a video glimpse that puts the franchise’s hard-edged action identity front and centre. The promo arrives with the swagger fans associate with ACP Yashvardhan Singh and instantly signals that the actor is not easing up on the high-impact space he has made his own.

The film is now on floors, with John shooting the first schedule alongside Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala. That update gives the glimpse extra weight, turning it from a teaser into a clear marker that the project is moving ahead at full speed. The makers have also locked March 19, 2027, for the theatrical release.

Harshvardhan Rane Enters The Force Universe

One of the biggest fresh elements in Force 3 is Harshvardhan Rane’s entry into the franchise. John returns as ACP Yashvardhan Singh, while Tanya Maniktala steps in as the female lead, giving the film a younger new-energy pairing around its established action centre.

Speaking about the next chapter, John said, “Force has always been a franchise I’ve believed in deeply. What makes it special for me is that it has a certain grit and a strong identity that audiences have connected with over the years.” He added, “With Force 3, we’re taking that legacy forward in a big way.”

He also shared his excitement about Harshvardhan taking on the action space, saying, “I’m also really excited to introduce Harsh as an action hero. He has the presence, the energy and the hunger for it, and I think audiences are going to enjoy watching him in this space.”

Bhav Dhulia Takes The Franchise Forward

Behind the camera, Force 3 is directed by Bhav Dhulia, whose credits include Khakee: The Bihar Chapter and The Freelancer. His connection to this world is especially notable because he had assisted the late Nishikant Kamat on the first Force, giving the new instalment both continuity and a sense of emotional return.

The film is produced by JA Entertainment and Karolina Corporation. Ravi Basrur is composing the music, while Irshad Kamil has written the lyrics. Taken together, the team suggests the makers are aiming to retain the franchise’s raw physicality while scaling up its dramatic and theatrical punch.

That ambition also aligns neatly with where John stands today, as an actor who has increasingly doubled down on commanding, physically charged roles.

Why Force 3 Fits John Abraham’s Action Era

Over the last few years, John’s screen image has sharpened around brute-force charisma, stoic intensity and large-format action storytelling. His turn as Jim in Pathaan in 2023 reminded audiences how effectively he can dominate a mainstream spectacle, while Vedaa in 2024 continued his run in stern, confrontational roles though film was a box office disaster. Even Attack: Part 1 in 2022 reflected his instinct for films built on physicality and scale, whether or not they landed at the same level commercially.

In that sense, Force 3 feels like more than a sequel. It lands as a franchise move that fits squarely into John’s present career rhythm, one driven by action credibility, franchise value and a screen persona that thrives on force, control and impact. The first glimpse makes that intention plain.
