Taika Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit is all set for a mega release in India after winning premiering at the Toronto Film Festival on January 31, 2020.
The critically-acclaimed film by Fox Searchlight; has already been nominated for 6 BAFTA awards. The story of the film is based on an anti-hate satire, it is about a young German boy (Roman Davis Griffin), who finds out that his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a Jewish girl in their home.
The film had its world premiere at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival and the film won the People’s Choice Award there.
The film is presently nominated for six awards at the 73rd British Academy Film Awards, including best-adapted screenplay for Waititi and best-supporting actress for Johannson.
The film also stars Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson, Thomasin Mckenzie, Alfie Allen and Stephen Merchant.
