Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor have united for their second film, following their debuts in Maharaj and The Archies respectively. Their new project is the Hindi remake of the 2022 Tamil hit Love Today.
Directed by Advait Chandan, known for Laal Singh Chaddha, this untitled film is a collaboration between Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, which produced the original Love Today.

Chandan’s vision aims to bring a fresh take to the popular Tamil film, which was based on Pradeep Ranganathan’s short film App(a) Lock.
The film, described as a tale of “love, likes, and everything in between,” has finally received an official release date: February 7, 2025. Sharing the release date, makers dropped an announcement post and wrote, “SAVE THE DATE!!! 7-2-25.”

The original film’s plot revolves around a young man who, to win over his fiancée’s apprehensive father, must swap phones with her for 24 hours before their wedding. This concept, both intriguing and relatable, promises to translate well into Hindi, with Junaid and Khushi leading the way.
On set, Junaid and Khushi’s dynamic has been described as complementary. While Junaid is known for his reserved nature, Khushi is outgoing and sociable. Their contrasting personalities have reportedly led to a strong on-screen chemistry, which fans are eagerly anticipating.
Filming For Junaid Khan & Khushi Starrer In Progress
The filming for the Hindi remake has been underway, with the crew recently wrapping up scenes in Mumbai. They are now in Delhi, where they will shoot for another 10 to 12 days. Key locations include Noida Sector 30, Sunder Nursery, and Connaught Place, with scenes set at a local university and hostel to capture the essence of student life. Most filming will occur during the day, with no plans for night shoots.
The film’s release has been highly anticipated, and the combination of Junaid Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Advait Chandan’s direction is expected to create a buzz in the industry.
