The cast and crew are also about to be incarcerated for a fortnight. Salman has brought Devi Sri Prasad on board for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

“Salman and DSP share a great bond, having delivered a chartbuster like Dhinka Chika in 2011. The duo is now all set to get back on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and the ace music composer has already started to create some original tunes for the album. Much like the trend in today’s time, multiple composers will be working on the music of KEKD, with DSP leading it from the front,” revealed a source to Pinkvilla.

Saman believes the genre has a lot of potential for fantastic music, so he’s talking to a lot of composers to find the proper tunes for this multi-cultural environment. Aside from the music, he’s enlisting the help of some of the industry’s best technicians. According to insiders, Anal Arasu is in early talks to design the film’s action blocks. On the action front, though, alternative names are being considered. V Manikandan, who has worked with Shankar on films such as Anniyan and is currently working on the cinematography for the next Brahmastra, is slated to join the cast of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

Apart from Salman Khan, Venkatesh, and Pooja Hegde – a big ensemble is expected to come on board the film. “The cast of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will be a blend of actors from the North and South. It’s a cross cultural love story, encapsulating the world of North and South India,” the source added.

Salman’s younger brothers will be played by Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal, and the team is looking for another actor to play his third sibling. Salman Khan’s production company, Salman Khan Films, is producing the film.
