Kajol Recalls How Shah Rukh Khan Comforted Her About Her Looks In Karan Arjun’s ‘Jaati Hun Main’ Song

Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan are two of the biggest names in Bollywood. Starting their career around the same time in the 1990s, they went on to become one of Bollywood’s most iconic on-screen pairs. Together, they have done several films together like Karan Arjun, Baazigar, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, My Name Is Khan, and Dilwale.

Recently, the talented actress recounted how SRK gave her courage when she thought she was looking “like horses” while filming for the song Jaati Hoon Main from the 1995 Rakesh Roshan’s Karan Arjun. In the film, she was paired with Shah Rukh.

Kajol said, “Shah Rukh was giving me courage to just finish the song. Dancing was the easy part, not laughing out loud at it (the song) was the difficult part. There are places in this (song) where I look like a horse. And he is like, ‘Shut up, just do it, get over with it.’ He has always been like that, making me laugh all the time.”

Kajol Talks About Pathaan’s Success

While promoting her web series The Trial, Kajol was asked about Shah Rukh’s new phase in Bollywood post Pathaan’s success and Jawan’s anticipation. She said, “I am so so happy for him, I messaged him also, and I told him also and I said: I’m so happy to hear this. Yeah, big hug and very very happy for him and yes I think it’s a new phase, new time for him and super super happy for him. I think he is a king and will always remain so.”
