Kamal Haasan’s film Indian 2 has been facing troubles since the film commenced. From fatal accident on the sets to production issues and now lock down the entire cast and crew in trouble.
Now since there is no definite time when the shoot will resume the makers have to take some tough designs. According to the reports the makers of the film, Lyca Productions, have decided to drop the project.
There are also reports that after the crane accident on the set there is a rift between Kamal Haasan and the producers. And if we believe in the reports then director S Shankar has also moved on to his next film.
However, Lyca Productions’s spokesperson clarified that the project has not been dropped. He was quoted as saying, “These are baseless rumours. We have completed almost 60 per cent of the film’s shoot. How will we consider dropping the project? We are planning to resume the shoot post lockdown.”
Directed by Shankar, Indian 2 is the sequel of his blockbuster film, which was released in 1996.
