Kangana Ranaut is one of the most talented and successful actress in Bollywood. Starting out at a young age with Anurag Basu’s Gangster, she gradually starred in several acclaimed films and established herself as a leading actress in the industry. However, in the last few years, Kangana has been in the news for her controversial remarks and tweets about certain individuals.
What started out with her calling out nepotism and other ills in Bollywood, morphed into something else. In 2020, actor Sushant Singh Rajput tragically passed away. What followed was Kangana taking to Twitter to talk about several Bollywood celebrities. There came a point when her Twitter account was suspended for spreading hatred. But it was restored after Elon Musk took over the company.
Kangana Ranaut Makes A Prediction About Gadar 2
Ahead of Gadar 2‘s release, Kangana has called out a report that stated that she did not want her film with Sunny Deol (2015’s I Love New Year) to be out. The report said that she believed the film would “destroy her career” since it was delayed for years. Refuting these claims, Kangana took to Instagram stories and wrote that she never said such things about Sunny as she is his big fan. Furthermore, she made a prediction about Gadar 2 that it “will be the biggest opener of the year”. Kangana also said that she is “the only actress who faces this kind of negativity on a daily basis.”
Pathaan Is Way Ahead In Numbers
Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is currently the highest-grossing film with a total collection of around 1,050 crores at the box office. On its opening day, the film earned around 106 worldwide, including 36.69 crore from overseas markets. The domestic day-one collection was 57 crore net. While there is a strong buzz around Gadar 2, it is highly unlikely that it will ever be able to surpass Pathaan and receive the biggest opening of this year. The film can, at max, open to around 30 cr at the domestic box-office.

Kangana Ranaut’s Upcoming Projects
Kangana is playing the role of Air Force Pilot in the action thriller Tejas, which is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala. She is also directing and producing Emergency, which is based on the 1974-75 emergency. In the film, she is portraying the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film is slated to release on 24 November 2023. Apart from these two, she is also starring in the Tamil language film Chandramukhi 2.
