Kangana Ranaut Calls A Kid Asking Virat-Anushka’s Daughter On A Date ‘Indecent’

Tweeting in Hindi, Kangana penned, “Please don’t teach these indecent things to kids, you won’t look modern or cool but you’ll look vulgar and fool.”

On Thursday, Kangana Ranaut posted a picture on Twitter from a recent IPL match. In the picture, a child was holding up a sign that said, “Hi Virat Uncle, Can I take Vamika on a date?” Vamika is the two-year-old daughter of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Kangana thought the sign was ridiculous and stated that young children should not be exposed to such “improper things.”

Tweeting in Hindi, Kangana penned, “Please don’t teach these indecent things to kids, you won’t look modern or cool but you’ll look vulgar and fool.” The kid’s face has been hidden with an emoji.

While most of the comment section supported the actor’s opinion, a few individuals highlighted that it was the influence of movies that prompted the child and his parents to raise the issue of dating.

“This is the influence of you Bollywood guys,” said the tweet. Another person stated, “They have learnt all of this from Bollywood.” Many agreed with Kangana’s stance and wrote, “We agree with you.” Another comment read, “You are right, their mentality is bad.” Many agreed with Kangana’s stance and mentioned, “We agree with you.” Another remarked, “You are right, their mentality is bad.”

Right from the beginning, Anushka and Virat have been resolute about preserving Vamika’s privacy and shielding her from the public eye. The pair has explicitly requested photographers and members of the media not to take pictures of their daughter. “While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same,” they had reportedly said in a statement.

During a match in 2022, a photo of Anushka holding Vamika was taken and aired on live television. The image was shared online, prompting Anushka and Virat to appeal for their daughter’s privacy. They had mentioned, “Hi guys! We realise that our daughter’s images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier.”
