Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film ‘Thalaivi‘ was scheduled to release on June 26. However, like many other films, this was also pushed ahead due to the global pandemic and lockdown.
It was earlier reported that the biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actress J Jayalalithaa will release on the OTT platform.
However, in a recent interview Kangana Ranaut revealed that even though the film has been sold to two major OTT platforms, a film like ‘Thalaivi’ just can’t release on digital directly. The actress says that the film is much bigger in scale and was meant for a big-screen.
Directed by Vijay and co-stars Arvind Swami and veteran actor MGR the film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
From learning Tamil and Bharathanatyam to gaining 10 kilos Kangana Ranaut has putten a lot of effort into the film.
