Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad has now been pushed by a month to May 2022, more details inside!

The film, directed by Razneesh Ghai, was originally scheduled to hit theatres in October 2021.

Kangana Ranaut has a busy schedule ahead of her. Since the success of Thalaivi, the actress has been on a roll, from Tejas to Dhaakad. Dhaakad, which was supposed to be released on April 8, 2022, has been pushed back a month to May 2022, according to Pinkvilla.

Dhaakad’s producers are avoiding box office competition, according to a source close to the production, because huge films are set to release that month. While Dhaakad did not have any major releases the following week, Yash Raj’s KGF: Chapter 2 and Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha were scheduled.

Due to the strong competition from both of these films, the producers have opted to give Dhaakad a lengthier run at the box office. The film will now be released on May 20, 2022, according to Pinkvilla.

Kangana has revealed snippets from the Dhaakad shoot on multiple occasions for the uninitiated. The actress will play a strong combatant in the film, which was once billed as India’s first female-led action movie. Kangana Ranaut has undergone extensive training for her role as agent Agni. Arjun Rampal plays a significant role in the film.

The film, directed by Razneesh Ghai, was originally scheduled to hit theatres in October 2021. However, due to the pandemic-related delays and theatre closures, the film’s release date has been pushed back to 2022.

KGF: Chapter 2 and Laal Singh Chaddha, meanwhile, are expected to compete at the box office. The big-budget movies are more likely to do well at the box office. While Yash’s film is an action thriller and a follow-up to the highly successful KGF, Aamir’s film is the official Hindi remake of the Academy Award-winning film Forrest Gump.
