Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Eyes 10-Year Anniversary Release; Posters With Eid, Baisakhi, Easter & Ram Navami Themes Spark Fan Theories

Kapil Sharma’s Comic Sequel ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ To Release September 26, 2025

After conquering the small screen, comedy king Kapil Sharma is returning to the big screen with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 — the much-awaited sequel to his 2015 hit debut. According to exclusive sources, the film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on September 26, 2025, almost ten years to the day since the original shocked and delighted audiences with box office success.

The 2015 film, directed by Abbas-Mustan, had a terribly chaotic storyline about one man who had three wives and a girlfriend. With Kapil’s comedic timing and mass appeal, the film is cited as a significant sleeper hit. However, Anukalp Goswami directs the sequel with Abbas-Mustan and Venus producing once again.

Storyline Attempt: 10 Years Since Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon?

Sources have confirmed the producers are “seriously considering” the release date September 26, given its historical value. One source close to the product said:
“The makers are confident in its box office potential and want a release date that is a balance of sentiment and strategy. The September 26 date is a strong possibility because there is little competition that weekend, and it ties nicely into the 10-year anniversary.”

The New Posters Mark Four Religions – Is That Just a Gimmick, or Does It Point to the Plot?

This unusual marketing approach has led to wild conjecture among fans on social media:

“Is Kapil playing a guy who marries women of different religions this time? What in the interfaith pandemonium is this?” a fan posted on Instagram.

“Four weddings, four religions, one Kapil. This is going to be peak comedy!” another user said.

Industry insiders have already referred to this as a “smart tease”, even suggesting that perhaps the story might be even crazier than the first film. If this somehow turns out to be true, this will not only open a new way for the franchise, but it would also maintain the brand of insaniyat, love, and comedy that the films encourage.

Cast & Crew: What We Know So Far

While we are getting ahead of ourselves, and most of the cast is not officially announced, we do know the following:

  • Kapil Sharma stars in the sequel
  • The sequel will be directed by Anukalp Goswami, who has a reputation for quirky writing style
  • The sequel will be produced by Abbas-Mustan and Venus Films but is no longer under their direction.

Fans are still waiting for the teaser or trailer (or both) to drop. Perhaps we’ll see one a little closer to Independence Day 2025, in time for the promotional tie-ins with the holiday.

BoxOfficeWorldwide Verdict:
Kapil Sharma‘s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 sounds like it will be a laugh of multi-layered social humour. The interesting multi-faith poster launch has made the marketing part of the story itself, with a sense of nostalgia mixed with freshness. If the film is to be released on September 26, this will not only be the 10-year celebration of comic insanity but will also help launch a whole new avatar in Kapil’s Bollywood chapters.
