Kapil Sharma is returning to the big screen with Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2, releasing on December 12, 2025. The sequel comes 10 years after Kapil’s debut film, and the promotional interview has revealed some absolutely hilarious behind the scenes stories. From his real wife visiting the set during a romantic scene to actors falling on each other during car sequences, the making of this film has been pure chaos in the best way possible.
The film continues the comedy of errors format, with Kapil’s character juggling multiple wives. This time, the twist is that he accidentally marries women from different religions, a Hindu, a Muslim, and a Christian, while trying to hide them from each other. Despite the naughty premise, the cast has emphasized that Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2 is a clean family entertainer made for audiences to watch together.
The Real Wife Vs Reel Wife Disaster
The most hilarious story from the shoot involves Kapil’s real wife, Ginni Chatrath, visiting the set in Bhopal. Unfortunately for Kapil, she arrived on the exact day he had to shoot a romantic song with actress Warina Hussain. The scene required intense eye contact and romantic chemistry.
Kapil admitted his hands were shaking with nervousness because he knew Ginni was watching him on the monitor. After every shot, he would come to his wife and say, “It’s really hot today,” trying to explain away his nervous sweat. Ginni reportedly replied with a knowing smile, “You seem to be enjoying it!” This behind the scenes moment perfectly captures the awkward reality of being a married actor shooting romantic scenes.
Car Accident Turns Into Comedy Gold
Another funny incident happened during a car scene. The driver braked hard, causing senior actor Akhilendra Mishra, who was sitting on a raised seat behind, to fall directly onto actress Parul Gulati. Kapil described Parul as a petite girl, and when Mishra Ji landed on her, she let out a squeaky sound like a baby bird.
The funniest part was that everyone rushed to check on Parul, while Mishra Ji calmly got up and asked, “Oh, what happened?” completely oblivious to the fact that he had just crushed the heroine. These unplanned moments show the genuine fun the cast had during filming.
A New Director Takes Over
Unlike the first film directed by the legendary duo Abbas-Mustan, this sequel is directed by Anukalp Goswami, who was the writer of the original film. Abbas-Mustan remain involved as producers and mentors. The film also features a special promotional song by Yo Yo Honey Singh, who created it as a gesture of friendship for Kapil without charging any fee.
