Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away yesterday and left the whole nation shocked. While everyone was pouring out their heart on social media and sending condolence to the late actor, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar also joined the league and wrote their condolence on social media.

However, netizens didn’t take it well and started trolling them for mocking Sushant on the talk show, Koffee With Karan, in the past.

Karan wrote a note blaming himself for not keeping in touch with the actor, “This is heartbreaking….I have such strong memories of the times we have shared …I can’t believe this ….Rest in peace my friend…when the shock subsides only the best memories will remain….”.

While Alia Bhatt wrote, “I’m in a deep state of shock. No matter how much I think about it, I don’t have the words.
I’m totally devastated.
You’ve left us too soon.
You will be missed by each and every one of us.
My deepest condolences to Sushant’s family, loved ones, and his fans”.

A clip from Karan’s talk show is trending on Twitter where he asked to rate three male actors in a Rapid Fire question – the choices were Sushant Singh Rajput, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan – Ms Bhatt said, “Sushant Singh Rajput, who?” This has been flagged several times in the comments thread on both Alia and Karan Johar’s tweet.

In another episode of the same talk show, Alia was given a question of Kill, Marry, and Hookup, she responded that she will marry Ranbir, hookup with Ranveer and kill Sushant. Earlier the actor had said that nobody used to invite him to parties as they did not consider him as family or part of the industry.

Netizens are blaming Karan and Alia for making fun of Sushant. Reason being that the Kedarnath actor made his mark in the industry on his own and was not part of nepotism.

Sushant’s hairstylist Sapna Bhavani shared a post blaming the industry for not standing up for him. She wrote, “No one in the industry stood up for him nor did they lend a helping hand. To tweet, today is the biggest display of how shallow the industry really is. No one here is your friend. RIP!”

Sushant hung himself to death at his Mumbai residence on June 14. Although police found no suicide note, they claim that he was suffering from depression.

Sushant will be always remembered for his talent, his journey from TV to Bollywood, for his hard work and for his amazing smile. May his soul rest in peace.
