Karan Johar has acquired the rights of a super hit Malayalam movie, Hridayam

Hridayam's rights have been obtained by both Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios.

Karan Johar, the filmmaker and producer, has some news to offer. Karan has bought the rights to Hridayam, a romantic Malayalam film, after stating that he is returning to directing after a five-year hiatus. In Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, the film will be remade. Karan Johar announced the wonderful news on his official Twitter account just a few minutes ago. Hridayam’s rights have been obtained by both Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios.

Karan took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “I am so delighted and honoured to share this news with you. Dharma Productions & Fox Star Studios have acquired the rights to a beautiful, coming-of-age love story, #Hridayam in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu all the way from the south, the world of Malayalam cinema. Thank you @visakhsub & @MerrylandCine for this huge win. Can’t wait for you to see it! More updates incoming, stay tuned! (sic).”

Karan Johar is making a comeback as a director after a five-year hiatus. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, will be directed by him. The film will be released in 2023 and is expected to be one of the most anticipated films of the year.
