Karan Johar to return with a new season of Koffee With Karan; check out who all are expected to grace the show

One of India’s most popular chat shows is Koffee With Karan is hosted by Karan Johar. Several celebrities, ranging from Hindi film stars to cricketers to South film actors, have sat on the controversial couch. After the show’s last season made headlines for all the wrong reasons, it was announced that it will be canceled permanently. However, it has recently been reported that the filmmaker is planning a new season of the show.

Karan will finish key portions of his upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in May, according to sources. Following the completion of the film’s current schedule, Karan will begin work on his chat show. The show’s pre-production is said to be in full swing, with shooting set to begin in mid-May. According to reports, the show will premiere on the Star network in June.

The show is likely to be a star-studded occasion, with the industry’s who’s who slated to attend. The show will feature Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and many others. Rashmika Mandana, who is poised to make her Hindi film debut with Mission Majnu, will also make her first appearance on the show. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the newlywed couple, will also make their first on-screen appearance after their wedding on season 7 of Koffee with Karan.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi feature in Karan Johar’s next film. On February 10, 2023, the film will be released in theaters. Karan is also producing forthcoming films such as JugJugg Jeeyo, Brahmastra, Govinda Naam Mera and Liger through his Dharma Productions label among others.
