Karan Johar’s Dharma Production gave some successful films this year. Now the production house has joined hands with Lyca Productions and reportedly signed a massive 5-film deal.
The last few Dharma films were co-produced with Fox. Now it seems Karan want to explore more, hence he joined Lyca Productions that has produced Tamil biggies like Robot and 2.0.
Well, recently Fox was taken over by Disney. Since Disney is not interested in producing Bollywood films, Karan had to look out for a strong partner.
According to the information, Producer Mahaveer Jain of Lyca and CEO Aashish Singh have already been pretty vocal about setting up Lyca in Bollywood now that they joined Dharma it would be beneficial for both the companies.
