Teaser Coming In 30 Days, Says Source
“Approximately 70 percent of the film has finished shooting, and they are currently in an in-between schedule break with Anurag Basu, and Kartik is going to use the window to finalise the teaser that they anticipate releasing in 30 days,” explained a source.
“The teaser will be a musical entrance to the intense world of the story and reinforce the Diwali 2025 release date.”
Title Under Wraps, But Basu’s Signature Style Intact
The title of the film is currently Hedge and Trade Secret. However, sources close to it describe its nature as a standard love story, in classic Anurag Basu fashion, but with signature absurdity and emotion.
From Rockstar to Boy Next Door
Kartik, who has shot almost all of his scenes in his rockstar look, will transition to boy next door for the final portion of shooting.
“He will start the last shooting schedule in August, and the movie is all set for a Diwali 2025 theatrical release, regardless of any tapering concerns in the industry,” the source said.
Kartik Aaryan’s Full Calendar
In the meantime, Kartik Aaryan has a full work calendar. In only a couple of weeks, he will begin shooting ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ with Ananya Panday, and he will shoot the highly anticipated Nagzilla in September. There are multiple other big projects in active negotiation by Kartik, but details are scarce.
Already a big lineup of high-budget film shooting opportunities will feature Aaryan alone for 2025, and the musical epic with Basu will provide live acts. Aaryan had a hot streak of box office performance on the horizon.
