Satyanarayan Ki Katha, Kartik Aaryan’s next film, is currently undergoing a title change. Sameer Vidwans, the film’s director, just published a statement announcing the change. Kartik also shared the message on his own Instagram account, explaining that the title was changed to avoid offending anyone, even if it was unintentionally. Soon, the new title will be revealed.

On June 23, Kartik Aaryan revealed his upcoming project, Satyanarayan Ki Katha. On Instagram, he recently revealed the title change. The statement by director Sameer Vidwans read, “A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film ‘Satyanarayan ki Katha’ to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that’s purely unintentional. Producers of the film and the creative team also are in complete support of this decision. We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey. Sincerely, Sameer Vidwans (sic).”

In Madhya Pradesh, Satnarayan Ki Katha was recently involved in a scandal. Sanskriti Bachao Manch, a Hinduist organisation, filed a memorandum in Bhopal police stations on Saturday to file a criminal action against producer Sajid Nadiadwala. They also threatened to blacken Sajid’s face if he visited Bhopal.

Kartik Aaryan wrote on Instagram on June 23 that the film is near and dear to his heart. Kartik’s first work with Sajid Nadiadwala is in this film. Sharing a teaser video, the actor wrote, “A story close to my heart #SatyanarayanKiKatha A special film with special people (sic).”

The musical love story, which will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala in conjunction with Namah Pictures, is set to begin filming around the end of 2021.

In addition, Kartik Aaryan will star alongside Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav in Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
