Katrina Kaif’s mother has been her most steadfast supporter on days when she has battled to pull herself up and look forward to a better day. One such instance was when she called it quits with Ranbir Kapoor following a six-year relationship. Katrina had hoped to marry Ranbir, but things broke apart, and Katrina had a long time to recover from the loss. Katrina found the strength to move forward thanks to her mother’s advice.

Katrina offered her mother’s “comforting” advice when she was at her lowest after splitting up with Ranbir in 2019. She shared how her mother reminded her that she was not alone in her sadness and that she will be able to get through it.
“I had to break before I could proceed to rebuild myself. I had to unravel and feel everything that had happened. I had to take full responsibility for my part in the equation, what I could and should have done better. And accept that the parts that I was not responsible for were not my problem. One thought that helped me when I was at my lowest was something my mom told me, ‘So many girls and women go through the same thing, you feel you are alone but you are not’. That thought was very comforting”, Katrina had said in interaction with Mumbai Mirror.
Cut to current, when Katrina is blissfully planning her wedding to Vicky Kaushal. Although the couple is keeping their romance and wedding plans under wraps, word on the street is that they will marry on December 9 in a lavish ceremony in Rajasthan. Although Katrina and Vicky have been seen together several times, they have yet to make an official proclamation about their relationship.
That’s also because they both like to keep their love lives private and away from the public eye. In fact, after her break-up with Ranbir, Katrina said in one of her interviews that she’s single until she gets married, implying that she won’t say anything about the man in her life until they’ve sealed the deal.
