Lakshya and Raghav Recently Praised Shah Rukh Khan
In a candid interview with Fever FM, Lakshya, who has made waves with his debut in Kill, described Shah Rukh Khan as more than just a person. Lakshya likened SRK to an institution of magic. Reflecting on their interaction with SRK, Lakshya shared, “Woh aadmi nahi hai, woh institution hain, woh magic hain” (He is not a person; he is an institution; he is magic). He expressed a heartfelt desire to emulate even a fraction of SRK’s persona to achieve success in life.
Raghav Juyal, who is playing an antagonist role in Kill, agreed with Lakshya. He highlighted Shah Rukh Khan’s remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued. He recounted how SRK’s presence in a room could uplift and inspire, regardless of the number of people present. Raghav remarked, “He makes everyone feel important. That’s the magic of King Khan.”
About Kill and Its Response After Release
Kill has garnered attention for its intense storyline set predominantly on a train. Lionsgate Pictures has acquired its distribution rights for North America, where it premiered on over 1,000 screens on July 4, coinciding with American Independence Day.
The film has received acclaim during its global festival run, particularly at the Toronto International Film Festival. Plans are also underway to adapt Kill into a Hollywood production, helmed by John Wick director Chad Stahelski and Lionsgate Pictures.
It was released on July 5 and is currently running in theatres with positive feedback from the audience.
On its first day (Friday), Kill collected Rs 1.35 crore. By the second day (Saturday), it had increased its earnings by 60%, bringing in Rs 2.20 crore. This brought its two-day total to Rs 3.55 crore nett in India.
