It has been confirmed that the filmmaker Farah Khan will be remaking 1982’s iconic film Satte Pe Satta. It has been reported that Kriti Sanon would like to be a part of the film. However, nothing has been confirmed there are reports that the actress slated to play Ranjeeta Kaur’s role from the original. Although she verified that she has not been approached for the film yet.
Recently Farah said that she will be making an official announcement about the film soon.
Buzz in the BTown also says that Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma may ease the roles Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini played out in the original film.
When asked about the film Kriti said, “I would love to (be a part of the film) but there is nothing that I know of, to be very honest.”
Kriti is currently on cloud nine, with back to back hits like “Luka Chuppi” and “Housefull 4”. Her last film “Panipat” opened last week.
“This year has gone really well. It started off well with ‘Luka Chuppi’ and then ‘Housefull 4’ did so well. Now, ‘Panipat’ is getting good reviews — so, 2019 has been very special,” a daily quoted her saying.
