Kriti Sanon Sizzles At Gq Awards 2026, Says Success Is A Mix Of Hard Work, Talent And Destiny

Kriti Sanon turned heads at the GQ Most Influential Young Indians Awards 2026 in a striking black latex Atsuko Kudo gown, delivering one of the evening’s most memorable fashion moments. But beyond the red carpet buzz, it was her candid reflection on success that added real depth to the spotlight surrounding her.

The actor is currently in a phase of remarkable momentum, balancing commercial cinema, performance-led roles, production ambitions and her entrepreneurial ventures with growing assurance. Over the past few years, Kriti has steadily expanded her space in the industry, making choices that reflect both confidence and curiosity.

Kriti Sanon On Why Success Needs More Than Just Talent

Speaking about what truly shapes success, Kriti said, “I do believe in luck, I do believe a lot in destiny, I feel you know it’s always a combination of hard work, talent and destiny.” She added that success also depends on recognizing opportunities when they arrive and having the courage to take risks, even when a choice feels intimidating.

That mindset has become central to the way her career is unfolding. Kriti’s recent film choices suggest an actor increasingly willing to test new emotional and commercial territories rather than settle into predictability. Her comments at the event, measured and self-aware, reflected the same clarity.

Her GQ appearance only amplified that confidence. Styled with minimal accessories and soft waves, the high-slit black look blended polish with edge, reinforcing her place as one of the most closely watched stars on both the fashion and film fronts.

A Career Phase Defined By Range And Reinvention

Kriti’s recent work highlights the breadth of her current screen presence. In 2024, she starred in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, where she played SIFRA, and followed it with Crew, one of the year’s successful Hindi theatrical releases. She also led Do Patti, which premiered on Netflix in October 2024 and marked her production debut under Blue Butterfly Films, while giving her the chance to take on a double role.

Her 2025 release Tere Ishk Mein, directed by Aanand L. Rai and co-starring Dhanush, arrived in theatres on November 28, 2025. The film added another emotionally intense performance to her résumé and further underscored her appetite for layered characters. It was her biggest hit at box office.

Looking ahead, Cocktail 2 remains one of her most anticipated projects for 2026. With Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Dimple Kapadia and Sanjay Dutt in the cast, the film places Kriti in another fresh mainstream space, this time as Ally. If her latest GQ remarks are any indication, she is entering that next chapter with the same mix of instinct, discipline and fearless timing that has powered her journey so far.
