Rashmika Mandanna is gearing up to star alongside Dhanush in the upcoming film Kubera. The filmmakers have been steadily releasing updates to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
Recently, they teased audiences with a glimpse of Rashmika’s look from the film. Today, they’ve unveiled her first official look, adding more intrigue to her character.

Rashmika Mandanna Shares a Character Teaser from Kubera
Rashmika also took to Instagram to share a character teaser. In the video, she is seen walking through a jungle with an iron rod, digging the ground, and pulling out a suitcase filled with money. Her character’s joy is palpable as she drags the suitcase away.
Fans quickly responded with heart emojis and enthusiastic comments. One fan wrote, “Love you Rashu, looks interesting! We are excited for this movie.” Another commented, “This is going to be crazy.” A third added, “Movie feels promising.”
About Kubera
In Kubera, Dhanush plays a character who starts as a homeless man and eventually becomes a powerful mafia lord. Alongside Rashmika and Dhanush, the film features Akkineni Nagarjuna and Jim Sarbh in significant roles.
The movie is produced by Suniel Narang under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, with music by Devi Sri Prasad. Kubera will have a pan-Indian release, including versions in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The release date for Kubera has not yet been announced, but it is expected to hit screens in multiple languages soon. With its talented cast, intriguing storyline, and promising direction, Kubera is a film to watch out for in the coming months.
Rashmika Mandanna And Dhanush’s Work Front
In addition to Kubera, Rashmika is preparing for her role in the action-packed thriller Pushpa: The Rule, which stars Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil. The film features an ensemble cast including Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Dhananjaya, and Jagadeesh Prathap. Rashmika also has Rahul Ravindran’s suspense film The Girlfriend lined up, where she will star opposite Dheekshith Shetty.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is preparing for his directorial debut, Raayan, an action thriller. He will also appear in the biopic Ilaiyaraaja, directed by Arun Matheswaran, with music composed by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja himself. Produced by Connekkt Media, PK Prime Production, and Mercuri Movies, Ilaiyaraaja promises to be a treat for fans of the music maestro.
