Ever since the announcement of Lust Stories 2, there has been immense anticipation surrounding the film. The teaser for the second part of Netflix’s highly acclaimed anthology movie, Lust Stories, was released a few weeks ago. Lust Stories 2 boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajol, Neena Gupta, Kumud Mishra, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Angad Bedi, and Mrunal Thakur. Recently, the makers unveiled four posters, each representing one of the short films in the anthology, and announced that the trailer would be revealed today. Finally, the trailer for Lust Stories 2 is now available, and it appears to be quite captivating!
The trailer for Lust Stories 2 begins with Neena Gupta drawing a comparison between the human body and a majestic volcano like Mount Fuji, implying that it only finds satisfaction upon eruption. Tillotama Shome is then shown expressing disbelief at what she has just witnessed. The trailer proceeds to showcase Kajol and Kumud Mishra, where he questions Kajol about the dismissal of their domestic worker. Kajol clarifies that she didn’t terminate the worker; instead, the worker left voluntarily. Following this, the trailer shifts focus to Neena Gupta offering advice to Angad and Mrunal. Neena advises them by saying, “Ek chhoti si gaadi lene se pehle test drive karte ho na, so shaadi se pehle no test drive.”
Next, we are introduced to the story of Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma in the trailer of Lust Stories 2. Vijay confronts Tamannaah, questioning why she left him a decade ago. Tamannaah reminds him that he is now married, implying that their past should not be revisited. Kajol, while sharing the trailer of Lust Stories 2, added, Ab violin bhi bajega, dil bhi dhadakega aur thoda lust aur bauth sara pyaar bhi hoga #LustStories2, releasing on 29th June, only on @netflix_in.”
