In a recent update, the Income-Tax Department is conducting searches at houses and offices of some Btown industry members. The list includes Madhu Mantena, actress Taapsee Pannu, director/producer Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bahl.
Madhu Mantena runs the talent management agency, Kwaan.
The I-T department is conducting searches on people related to Phantom Films for tax evasion. Raids are underway at 22 locations linked to Phantom Films and Kwan in Mumbai.

In 2011 after sexual harassement charges were levied on Phantom Films’ co-founder Vikas Bahl the company was dissolved.
