Bollywood’s iconic Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit-Nene and B-town’s new National Crush, Triptii Dimri, are gearing up to take the OTT world by storm with the mother-daughter dramedy Ma Behen. Directed by Suresh Triveni, known for Tumhari Sulu and Jalsa, production is expected to begin in Mumbai sometime next month. The initial release onto OTT is also planned for 2026.
A working title that is as desi as the emotions it promises to display, Ma Behen is set to be a character-driven roller coaster of emotion and chaos that transcends generations, ideologies, and feelings with a touch of humour.

Insiders describe the film as a “quirky but emotional story” and suggest that Madhuri and Triptii’s relationship will shine in a script that blends emotional sensitivity and humour. Sources close to the film say the script will showcase both women’s strengths—Madhuri’s elegance and comic timing and Triptii’s emotional subtleties.
Also joining the line-up are Ravi Kishan and comic actor Dharna Durga, once again bringing more zest to the lively ensemble cast.

Earlier in the week, both Madhuri and Triptii were seen visiting the film’s production house in Mumbai, and images were shared online, stirring up theories of a potential pairing—and now it’s confirmed, and fans are excited.
