Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, SSMB28 stars Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde. S Thaman is the music composer of the film. A few weeks ago, its shooting began in Hyderabad. It’s scheduled to be released on April 28, 2023.
The latest Tollywood news is that SSMB28 will stream on Netflix post the 50 days of theatrical release. The film makers collaborated with Netflix for a whopping Rs 81 Cr deal, which is considered to be the highest ever for a Telugu cinema.
“SSMB28 is one of the most awaited movies releasing this year and it has become a hot topic even though the makers haven’t yet announced the title or released the first-look poster yet. We all know that because of Mahesh Babu’s brand name, there is a huge demand for the theatrical rights of his films. But the recent one is an astonishing deal,” Bollywood Hungama quoted its source as saying.

According to reports, Trivikram wrote a first-of-its-kind subject to present Mahesh Babu in an unprecedented character. The superstar is also believed to have undergone a new makeover and will star in a rugged avatar with a beard and long hair.
