Netflix India is preparing to release a variety of shows and films featuring strong female protagonists. Mai, starring Sakshi Tanwar, is one of them. The plot of the new drama is around a mother who becomes ruthless in her search for the killer of her daughter. The makers of Mai have now released the official trailer for the upcoming film, which stars Sakshi Tanwar as a courageous mother.
The trailer opened with the introduction of a young woman who is unable to talk and is subjected to sexual harassment. When her daughter is killed in a truck accident, her mother (Sakshi) refuses to believe the police investigation and begins to seek justice for her daughter. In the circumstances that followed, the tenacious mother left no stone unturned in her pursuit of justice for her daughter. What a mother can do for her child was hinted at in the teaser. The social networking platform Twitter was abuzz shortly after the trailer was released, with netizens praising Sakshi Tanwar for her riveting acting.
