The makers of Ajay Devgn and Priyamani starrer Maidaan released the first look poster of the movie. The poster shows the legs of players covers with mud all over. Their legs are drenched on the football ground.

The movie is based on the golden years of Indian football. The director of the film Badhai Ho, Amit Sharma will be directing the movie. Priyamani stars as the female lead opposite Ajay Devgn, who portrays Syed Abdul Rahim, the coach and manager of Indian football team from 1950 until his death in 1963.
Maidaan is a production by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta. Saiwyn Quadros and Ritesh Shah have been credited for screenplay and dialogues, respectively.
Maidaan will hit the theaters on 27 November, 2020.
