Shah Rukh Khan will be back in action in 2023. The year started for him with a bang, thanks to the massive success of his action flick Pathaan. It marked his return to cinemas after nearly five years. Now, the superstar has another action film in his lineup, which is Atlee Kumar’s Jawan. Today, the makers dropped the film’s official prevue video, and it has stirred the internet.
The two-minute and two-second long video has some of the best moments and dialogues from the entire film, and Shah Rukh is in his best and full form. The prevue starts with a mass shoot-out, accompanied by Shah Rukh’s voiceover saying, Main kaun hu, kaun nahi.” Later, he delivers a whistle-worthy kickass dialogue, “Main Jab Villain Banta Hoon, Mere Samne Koi Bhi Hero Tik Nahi Sakta.”

The prevue also shows glimpses of Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, as well as Deepika Padukone, who is making a special appearance. She is in an action avatar and is seen kicking a guy’s ass amid heavy rainfall. It has echoes of SRK’s last outing Pathaan. In the prevue, Shah Rukh is seen in several different avatars as he is reportedly playing a double role in the film. Earlier in his career, SRK played anti-hero roles in films like Darr, Baazigar and Anjaam.
At one point, Shah Rukh ever utters one of his most iconic lines, “Naam toh suna hoga.” Overall, the prevue is breathtaking and filled with adrenaline-pumping dialogues and action sequences.
