Sharvari Calls Main Vaapas Aaunga A Full Circle Moment, Shares BTS With Imtiaz Ali As Teaser Charms Viewers

Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga has started building its emotional pull well ahead of release, and it is not just because of its scale or cast. A day after the teaser dropped on March 13, Sharvari took to social media with behind the scenes pictures alongside the filmmaker and penned a note that reads like a personal milestone, describing the moment as “full circle” in her journey.

With the teaser already drawing attention for its mood, period imagery and sense of longing, Sharvari’s post added a more intimate layer to the conversation around the film. Her message underlined the kind of director-actor faith that fans of Imtiaz Ali’s cinema tend to respond to, making the announcement feel less like a standard promo beat and more like a dream finally coming true.

The Sharvari Note That Made The Teaser Drop Feel Personal

In her note, Sharvari shared that she had attended an Imtiaz Ali masterclass a few years ago and had manifested being part of one of his films someday. She called collaborating with him on Main Vaapas Aaunga a full circle moment, as she posted BTS frames with the director from the sets and the teaser launch window.

The post landed at just the right time, with audiences still soaking in the teaser’s atmosphere and the promise of a sweeping love story set against a turbulent chapter in history.

Imtiaz Ali, speaking about the film in an official statement around the teaser launch, said, “Can love really be lost? Can home be taken away from someone’s heart? The biggest story of the century is migration. I feel privileged to get the chance to tell such a story on celluloid.”
