Last year in October it was announced that John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate will have a sequel. The film will also star Divya Khosla Kumar opposite John. The film will be directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment & Motion Pictures. The film was scheduled to go on floor in April end this year, since the makers were eyeing for Gandhi Jayanti for release.
However, because of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak working of the industry has been put on hold following the nationwide lockdown. Now it is uncertain whether the makers will consider moving the release date ahead.
Talking to a daily Zaveri said they are hopeful to start the shoot as soon as thinking gets normal. He also said that as of now they stick to the Gandhi Jayanti release date.
The filmmaker says even if they start filming in May they’ll be on time and release the film on October 2.
The director has revealed the theme of the film and it will be fighting corruption.
