Ever since the Coronavirus pandemic took place, we have witnessed a lot of Bollywood celebrities visiting Maldives for vacations even when the situation in India kept getting worse. These celebrities included, Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and many others.
Now, the Ministry Of Tourism of Maldives banned travelers from India to the inhabited islands. The tweet from the ministry read, “With effect from 27 April @HPA_mv suspends tourists travelling from #India to #Maldives from staying at tourist facilities in inhabited islands. We thank you for the support in our endeavour to make tourism safest possible with minimum inconvenience.”
