The historical action movie RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, is up for two Golden Globes in the categories of Best Picture- Non-English language and Best Original Song -Naatu Naatu. On Monday night, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) posted the announcement on the Golden Globe Awards’ official Twitter account.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which organises the Golden Globe Awards, was hailed by Rajamouli for honouring the film. RRR tells a fictional story that takes place in the 1920s. Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson all play significant roles in the movie. On January 10, the Golden Globes will take place, and stand-up comedian Jerrod Carmichael will host the event.
