Masterstroke: Shah Rukh Khan Interacts With Fans For Pathaan Teaser Launch On Twitter And On Ground Event Rather Than Social Media Interaction Hungry & Paid Media, Detail Inside !

Pathaan is set to release on January 25, 2023, which is full of drama and action which is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone in lead roles and will have John Abraham as antagonist. It showcases an undercover police official and drug lord. Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have worked on its music. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu.

The much-awaited teaser from Pathaan was released on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. It blew the viewers away with SRK’s action and style as he comes back on screen as a leading character after four years.  He treated fans with his special midnight appearance too.

Interestingly, SRK didn’t interact with media houses (who need to be paid to do any activity) ahead of the teaser launch of Pathaan. The legend chose his way of interacting with fans by waving and posing his signature style on his birthday, while Pathaan was written on the back of his tshirt. 

The connect was so real and evident with his gestures and interactions. SRK’s avoidance to paid media from Mumbai and Kolkata has hurt them as everybody witnessed the massive gathering outside Mannat for him. Besides, he interacted with fans on Twitter earlier yesterday in his #ASKSrk session.

He answered to fans, loved them but media based in other cities were deprived of such things. Indeed, it’s a masterstroke and the best possible way from SRK to showcase many activities on his birthday and post the celebration too as it continues and the paid media too keeps watching from their offices.

Following are the benefits :

1. Amount of social media uproar, craze and interaction SRK’s tweet can create is easily manifold than any media house online – so what’s the point of giving these journos his previous time for same cliche questions which can be twisted later

2. If SRK appears in an event among his fans then he doesn’t need an event with media who generally come for free food, selfie and two minute of fame with superstar rather than asking genuine questions on behalf of audience

3. In the world of paid negativity and every twitter handle claims to be journalist with Exclusive news , it’s a masterstroke to convey his thoughts in unadulterated manner with his fans who will come to cinema instead of interacting with Kolkata and Mumbai journalist who charges 1.50 lac plus GST for positive tweets for particular film (guess the name!).

This seems to be way forward for super star and ideally that’s the best way to avoid unnecessary negativity and cliche promotions.
