For a long time, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, produced by Dharma Productions, has been one of the most talked-about films. Although the film took an extremely long time to reach theatres, fans are already counting down the days till it is released. The film will be released on September 9th. With a cast that includes Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy, among others, this film has a lot riding on it.
And today, just hours before the film’s trailer debuts, the filmmakers have released the first look motion poster for Mouni. Junoon will be played by the actress, and Ayan has an unusual narrative to tell, as well as a heartfelt statement he wrote.
The director writes, “A lot of people, I think, are going to walk out of Brahmāstra, talking about Mouni’s Performance as Junoon. Moun – who has deep belief and deep surrender for Lord Shiva – has always understood Brahmāstra very naturally – and with that understanding, she really killed it with her part in our movie!”
He added, “My first meeting with her, I offered her a ‘special appearance’ in Brahmāstra. Eventually she shot with us from our first day to our last schedule, and is really, the surprise package in the film!”
Chiranjeevi’s association with Brahmastra has recently made headlines. The actor has lent his voice for the Telugu trailer, and everyone, including director Ayan, gushed over him.
