Minions, the most despicable, mischievous, and lovable lot, are back with their boss Gru in Minions: The Rise of Gru, a spin-off prequel to the 2015 movie, Minions.
The plot spirals back to the 70s when a 12-year-old boy Gru dreams of making big as a villain with the help of his wacky little henchmen, the Minions.
In celebration of the Minions: Rise of Gru hitting theatres on June 30th and creating buzz about the same, Carter Road, Bandra spotted the iconic Minions trio, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, along with Otto, the newest member of the clan, by Mumbai’s famous bay in the form of life-size cutouts on Saturday, June 26.
This innovative activation, located at one of the hotspots in the suburban region of Mumbai, grabbed the attention of many passersby. From families, teens, and children to social media influencers, everyone was seen hanging out, clicking selfies with the Minions, and dancing to the tunes of ‘Turn Up The Sunshine’ – a funk and pop soundtrack from the movie, making it a fun evening to remember.
