According to the most recent notification from the producers, Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway, which stars Rani Mukerji, will ultimately be released in theatres on March 3, 2023. Release day was initially set for May 20, 2022. The film is produced by Zee Studios and Ashima Chibber, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment.
A real-life incident that shocked the world of children’s rights and human rights inspired Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway. In a formal statement, the creators provided additional context on the issue by stating, “The film recounts the story of an immigrant Indian mother’s battle against the Norwegian foster care system and local legal machinery to win back the custody of her children.”
When Rani finished filming the movie in October of last year, she remarked as per Bollywood Hungama, “Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway is an inspirational story about a mother fighting a country for her children and I went through a rollercoaster of emotions shooting this film. I had an amazing time shooting with my producers Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani, Zee Studios, and director Ashima Chibber and I’m hoping that this film will resonate with everyone who wants to see an entertainer with a brilliant concept at its fore.”
In 2013, Chibber made her acting debut in the Yash Raj Films comedy Mere Dad Ki Maruti, which also starred Saqib Saleem, Ram Kapoor, and Rhea Chakraborty.
