Mrs Marvel makers reveal they will gladly reshoot & return to production if SRK gives a nod for the show!

On June 8, Ms. Marvel will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.

The showrunners for Ms. Marvel, the latest superhero entry in the MCU’s phase 4 line-up, who are excited to work with Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan, expressed their pleasure at the prospect of working with him.

Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Muslim Pakistani-American from Jersey City who is enamoured by the Avengers and looks up to Captain Marvel in particular as she gains otherworldly abilities in the upcoming Disney+ miniseries. Kamala Khan’s heroic roots are told in the series, and she will make her big-screen debut in Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels.

Sana Amanat, the comic writer of Ms. Marvel, as well as Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the director team behind Ms. Marvel, claimed that they have one thing in common with their eponymous character: a passion for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Several of SRK’s noteworthy films, like Baazigar and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, have been named-dropped in the next show, according to reports. When asked if fans should look out for SRK’s cameo at any time in the series, Amanat, who also serves as the co-producer, remarked that they would gladly film again and return to production solely to add the megastar.

“If Shah Rukh Khan wants to be in this show, we will go film again! We’ll go back to production, we’re (definitely) going back to production! Call somebody!” Amanat said without holding back her excitement.

Adding to Amanat’s excitement, the director Adil El Arbi jokingly said, “We would want to make a Bad Boys 3 remake with Shah Rukh Khan,” he said to which Sana suggested, “This will be the perfect pitch.” Bilall Fallah then added, “He is one of the biggest stars in the world, a legend.”

The team will direct Bad Boys for Life, the third instalment in the Bad Boys franchise, in 2020. The three directors stated that their admiration for SRK brought them together. Kamala’s admiration for the Indian celebrity is rooted in comic books, according to Amanat

“SRK, actually is from the comics. We have some Shah Rukh Khan mentions in the comics because it was linked to Kamala’s connectivity with Bollywood, and we just love him,” she said.
