Raj Kundra, a businessman & Shilpa Shetty’s husband, was granted bail in the pornographic content case by a Mumbai court on Monday. The court has ordered Kundra to post a Rs 50,000 surety bond. The Metropolitan magistrate court has also granted bail to Ryan Thorpe, the IT director of one of Raj Kundra’s companies.

In July of this year, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch arrested Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe in connection with the production and distribution of pornographic content. In February of this year, the situation was initially brought to light during a raid on a residence in Mumbai’s Madh neighbourhood. Officials discovered that the bungalow was being used to film pornographic material.

Umesh Kamat, Raj Kundra’s associate, was arrested as a result of the investigation. In April of this year, the first chargesheet in the case was submitted against nine people. The Crime Branch filed a 1,467-page additional chargesheet against Raj Kundra, Ryan Thorpe, and two others earlier this month.
