Salman Khan has been called by the Andheri Magistrate Court in a case of alleged misbehaviour with a journalist, according to recent sources. For the uninitiated, a journalist named Ashok Pandey filed a lawsuit against Khan in 2019 alleging that he misbehaved with him. The journalist said in his lawsuit that while riding his bike, he was filming the actor with his permission. Salman and his bodyguard, on the other hand, are said to have misbehaved with him. The Sultan actor allegedly struck Ashok and took his phone, according to Ashok.
The Mumbai court has now summoned Salman for charges under IPC Sections 504 and 506 in this matter, according to the latest developments.
ANI on Tuesday, tweeted, “Andheri Magistrate Court summons Salman Khan to appear on April 5 in a 2019 case filed by a journalist Ashok Pandey for allegedly misbehaving with him. Court has summoned the actor for offenses under IPC sections 504 and 506.” Not just Salman, his bodyguards have also received summons warrants for an alleged assault case filed by the journalist.
According to the complaint, the event occurred on April 24, 2019, while he was travelling by automobile with his cameraman from Juhu to Kandivali, and Salman was observed cycling along the way. The journalist requested permission from two of his bodyguards to capture his footage, which he received. However, when the actor spotted him filming his video, he became enraged and assaulted him, presumably because he did not approve of it. In reality, Ashok Pandey had accused the police in his complaint of failing to act on the allegation and failing to take any serious action against the actor after he reported the occurrence.
